Mission Statement

our mission is simple. it is to bring people together by sharing with others our thoughts, ideas and moral support, along with other beneficial information/news regarding the current and ongoing state of america.  these shares may take various forms as there are several contributors to this blog.

this is a trying time for many, if not most of us.  we are stepping into unknown territory as we enter 2017.  it is our hope that we will grow into a useful home and community for open-minded people to support one another, adding more contributors and followers along the way.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.  - Martin Niemöller
Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.
